Base Headquarters

As we begin opening the new bases, we would like to explain a little bit about where things started in San Juan, which remains home base. 

The Dominican Republic is divided into 31 provinces and each province is then divided into counties which are then divided into communities. San Juan is the largest province with half of the population living in rural, mountainous areas.  The San Juan Base began working in 22 un-reached villages in 2010.  Since then, we added more communities to the list that needed church plants, and many were reached.  Other ministries and churches began efforts and in total around 52 villages were reached.  Today there remain 8 villages without a local church.  That is our task to finish.

Most of these villages should be reached through second and third generation church plants, not needing US partnership.
