ARUAM MASCARÓ
Buena Vista, Yaque - Toma Mina J.H.
My name is Aruam, I am married to my loving wife Connie and we have two children: Luka and Noel.
I was born in a nominal Catholic family, I did baptism, communion, and confirmation. In short they sent me to all the classes and activities of that church. Despite that, I lived in a dysfunctional family, my father had several wives and other children with each one of them, to the world we were a good family, but inside it was chaos, especially for my mom.

My Father was devoted (as he learned from my grandmother) to the Virgin Mary. One day we went as a family to the Higuey Basilica and my Father prayed with me to the Virgin Mary asking her to heal me from a disease I suffered from: Epilepsy.

At the age of 17, the Lord called my life, using my mother as the first evangelical believer in the house. She went from being a nominal Catholic to faith in the living Christ, leaving behind the old life in which I was also involved because I was always with her.
I began to attend church activities with her, and eventually the Lord came into my heart. After a series of events, I accepted him at the beginning of 2012. There I was able to understand the power of Christ and I could see who really healed my epilepsy, after a series of doubts and questions, God gave me the grace to read his Word and know him for salvation.

So, I met the perfect woman in that Church, Connie, the Lord gave me the grace to have her as my wife and mother of my children.

Today we serve God in the Church, and also in the Promised Land ministry as workers for the Buena Vista and Toma Mina Church Plant.
