San Juan

I am the husband of Ariela Nova Montero, father of Greary De Oleo Nova.

In the early 1990s, the Lord brought me into his ways, and shortly after I followed Christ, I began to have responsibilities as a youth leader.

In 2003 I was assigned as pastor of Iglesia Evangélica Menonita La Nueva Jerusalem, in Arroyo Cano. I served as a pastor for 17 years, until February 2020.

While serving as a pastor I met Miguel Santiago Shaul (2005). With him I developed a brotherhood and a relationship that gave me the opportunity to learn more about the missions and become interested in them. As part of the command to go and make  disciples, I have been serving in the Promised Land Ministry for more than ten years.

In general, I am in charge of the San Juan base. Our goal is to finish reaching the unreached communities next year, in specific activities. I coordinate the delivery of resources to partner pastors, thus the bimonthly meetings that are held with all the local Partners. I supervise two plantations with Miguel.

We are planting a church in Guayuyal, a plantation that we will soon be established. In addition, The Sword of the Spirit ministry is part of our task along with other brothers, which consists of preparing materials that can be used in the formation of leading disciples, this is in response to the needs that we observe in the partner churches.

On October 17 of this year 2020, I was requested to serve as pastor at Cristo La Roca Mennonite Church in Bohechio, even though we had asked God to allow us to finish the year without having any congregation under our responsibility, we are convinced that we are soldiers of Jesus Christ, when he calls us and wherever he calls us there we are and we will go.
